Capturing Creation.

Nehemiah, a man who lived two and a half millenia ago, wrote these beautiful words: ““You are the LORD, you alone. You have made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth and all that is on it, the seas and all that is in them; and you preserve all of them; and the host of heaven worships you.”

My goal is to capture God’s creation and to show it off for the world to see. I hope you enjoy my art.

May God’s blessings be upon you.

Earth.

There’s something beautiful and simplistic about rural living. Minnesota is one of the most remarkable states I have ever had the privilege of living in. Minnesota is home! It’s where I grew up, and the place to where the Lord led me back. It’s a fine state where good people with good values reside. To me, Minnesota encompasses the best of what America has to offer. Come and explore all that Minnesota has to offer!

I hope and pray my country & rural living photographs captivate your heart and speak to your soul as they have to mine. From farm life and livestock to Minnesota’s extensive skies and beautiful landscapes, you can find all that here.

Waters.

Robert Murray McCheyne, a 19th century pastor from Scotland said these profound words of truth: “Unfathomable oceans of grace are in Christ for you. Dive and dive again, you will never come to the bottom of these depths.”

So true are his words.  I have sailed many of our world’s oceans and seas, and still to this day, they mystify me, but not as much as does God’s grace.

Humanity.

“Then God said ‘let us make man in our image, in our likeness …’ So God created human beings in his own image. In the image of God he created them. Male and female he created them” (Gen 1:26a, 27).

You, me, and all the rest of mankind are image bearers of God. Isn’t that something? That makes you pretty special. Let’s talk about that sometime.
